Hello and thank you for stopping by!
My name is Aga and I help businesses with their brand design – from developing brand identity (logo, brand guidelines) to spreading the word about their products or services (visual and written communication for print and digital media).
I thrive when I can help companies to create a clear and consistent message across all forms of visual communications – utilising my art direction, design and illustration skills.
Depending on the job, I work on my own or team up with other talents – some of them I listed below.
I often get outsourced by bigger design or ad agencies and work with them on more complex campaigns – usually on a project or contract basis.
I’m also open to full time opportunities – surprise me!
As a brand designer, I’m particularly interested in working for medium or large premium businesses appreciating and expecting high quality designs, for the cultural sector, and on projects where I can combine my design and illustration skills (see more of my work here).
Let’s meet for a chat to discuss what and how I and my wonderful associates listed below can help your business!

Des Columb works with me as a Creative Director and Copywriter.
He is I Say’s founder and has over twenty years’ experience in his field working in London and Dublin. He’s created campaigns in every media – from big ideas on posters, press, radio and TV to targeted sales messages carried digitally and in direct mail. He’s won awards, spoken on stages from Toronto to Kazakhstan and written rather a lot. Everything, in fact, from your run-of-the-mill ads, brochures, scripts and letters to love poems for cats and speeches for CEOs. He hasn’t been bored for a very long time.
And he’s simply amazing! I can’t remember a campaign we did together that hasn’t been successful! (We’ve known each other and working together 10 years now.)

Gina McCrudden has a unique and adaptable style that allows her to create punchy content for challenger brands and simplify the messaging for businesses with more complex offerings.
She earned her stripes working in marketing strategy and proposition alongside some of the most talented creative agencies in the UK and Ireland.
She’s a marketing story-teller at heart and loves working with tone of voice to create memorable contact moments that add to a client’s unique personality.
Gina has sat at both sides of the table as client and consultant, so she understands the importance of measuring performance, meeting targets and justifying spend. She’s managed all three successfully, delivering for audiences in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and throughout Asia.
I met Gina when freelancing in one of the digital agencies in Dublin, and I knew instantly she’s the person I’ll want to work with again!
Ger Ryan – a copywriter with a conscience.
Ger wants to challenge the way people think. Although a winner of many accolades, he is prouder of his charity work for Joint Amyloidosis Charity and World Vision than any award he has ever won.
We’ve known each other for 10 years now and I love working with Ger – every time we meet, we are bursting with creative ideas that could greatly enhance your business, especially if your target audience is young adults that love fun and creativity.
I work from different locations, depending on the project I’m involved in.
It’s often on site with my clients which are, in most cases, Dublin-based ad or design agencies.

Note for the potential interns – I’ve been experiencing a large volume of internship applications but I’m not on the lookout for employees/interns at the moment. Thank you and good luck with your search!
I have retained Aga Grandowicz for a number of projects, related to software development, tourism and agri-business. The primary value of Aga’s services is that she combines high-quality and original design with an understanding of the business for which she is designing. She is relentlessly professional, starting with a basic brief and building it into an end result of which we can all be proud. I retained Aga to help Duffys of Ballybin, a provider of high-quality tourist and executive accommodation. The business faced a challenge, because the brand did not reflect the high quality of the service provided, which made it difficult to attract the desired market segment at the desired price. Aga led a brand enhancement project, to provide the business with a logo; a high-quality web site; and e-commerce facilities. This led to less price resistance and more demand from the target market segments for the services provided. Over the three years since, the number of bookings has increased by 17% and the average amount charged per apartment has increased by 22%.
Hard-working, fast, entrepreneurial and completely committed to the highest creative standards, I’ve no hesitation in recommending Aga for any offline or online design project. I’ve known her for over eight years and in that time she’s always been incredibly obliging, flexible and positive. When it comes creativity, she doesn’t have an off-switch – and when design projects aren’t benefiting from her talent, her garden is!
In the five years that I had the pleasure of working with Aga I found her to be an exemplary professional.
Her art direction skills enabled her to execute the most challenging creative briefs with ease. Her manner and her ideas are always a joy to behold.
Aga is a pleasure to work with. She spends the time understanding what the outcomes are to be before setting about on any design work itself. Aga was very flexible when working with Antuar, and we got huge value for money. I have referred other people to Aga, and would be more than happy to do so again.
Aga takes time to really understand what you’re looking to achieve. But I lacked the ability to express what I wanted. For Aga that was no problem, She has an incredibly creative mind and can interpret even what a design idiot like me can’t express and go away and produce work which makes your jaw drop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her if you want stunning visuals that literally leap off the page or the screen and grab the attention of the people you want to influence.
I love working with Aga. She has such a creative mind and a fantastic ability to execute the most intricate and detailed work in a very short time. Thanks to Aga’s unique artwork, together we won an An Post DM Award for Best Creative Work in Ireland. From her freelance work and her artwork on Celtana, it’s clear Aga is still keeping up that high standard and I look forward to working with her again.
Aga is wonderfully creative and delivered on time. She surpassed expectations and is a real pleasure to work with. She is very diligent and ensures a professional final product is delivered.
Aga is an excellent designer, with a keen eye for detail and a thoroughly professional approach to every job, whether in print or online design. Her art direction clearly speaks for itself and she has a quietly creative streak running through everything she does. A pleasure to work with.
