Created in 2017 as part of a café rebranding, these illustrations remain one of my favourite projects. The work was made all the more enjoyable by an open-minded client and my longtime collaborator Des Columb, whose thoughtful copy always adds another layer to the visuals. We’ve worked together on numerous projects over the past 17 years, and it’s a collaboration I continue to value.
Minimal in style, the illustrations explore the many ways people come together over coffee, whether to connect, take a break, or simply recharge. They reflect the café as a welcoming space for all the small moments that make up everyday life.
